The Struggle

This game is a raise awareness game regarding mental health issues, specifically, depression. This project was developed in an academic context.
This was my first real and complete solo project, and all feedback is appreciated

The Struggle is a narrative game developed in RPG Maker MV.
Although the game can be considered an RPG, it is not focused on combat. Instead, it is focused only on the narrative, and therefore the battles are very limited.

Actual Game Description:

The Struggle follows the story of a young boy who suffers a sequence of bad events that will trigger a depressed state on himself.
After being in this condition, our hero will enter a manifestation of his corrupted mind and, with the help of a special girl, will start accepting his condition and fighting it, by finding some ways to get better and face what happened.
The hero will have to fight his past and ultimately, fight his inner demons in order to be able to move forward in an attempt to recover from his depression.
